L’AC si prende cura di tutte le fasi della vita della persona, anche dei piccoli che iniziano il loro cammino nella Chiesa attraverso il Catechismo. Il cammino dell’iniziazione cristiana è una grande sfida che vede l’AC impegnata a trasmettere un nuovo modo di “fare catechismo” senza tralasciare il catechismo tradizionale, ma completandolo.
La centralità del bambino e l’esperienzialità sono i cardini metodologici su cui si fonda tale percorso, accompagnato dalla ricchezza dei Catechismi CEI. Come ogni sfida richiede coraggio ed energia, voglia di fare e autenticità di essere. È il processo globale attraverso il quale si diventa cristiani. Si tratta di un cammino diffuso nel tempo e scandito dall’ascolto della Parola, dalla celebrazione e dalla testimonianza dei discepoli del Signore, attraverso il quale il credente compie un apprendistato globale della vita cristiana e si impegna ad una scelta di fede e a vivere da figlio di Dio, ed è assimilato con il Battesimo, la Confermazione e l’Eucarestia, al mistero pasquale di Cristo nella Chiesa.

Crediamo fortemente che l’ACR, bella e fatta bene, sia una delle occasioni più importanti che l’AC ha per annunciare il Vangelo oggi, per offrire a ogni bambino/ragazzo un cammino completo e articolato, con le finalità di aiutarli a diventare cristiani.

L’ACR, che non è un metodo ma ha un metodo, non è uno strumento pastorale, ma un’esperienza di vita cristiana dove adulti e giovani raccontano ai più piccoli la bellezza di essere Chiesa. Un percorso e un cammino riconosciuto dai vescovi italiani e dalle diocesi.

si svolge all’interno della comunità ecclesiale;
non contrappone i contenuti all’esperienza ma mantiene entrambe le linee: è la vita dei ragazzi che incontra l’Annuncio del Vangelo;
coinvolge tutta la comunità parrocchiale: preti e laici, adulti e giovani;
ha come meta il giovane/adulto che quel bambino diventerà e non il Sacramento (che resta evento e dono di Grazia che accompagna tutta la vita del credente);
mette al centro l’accoglienza di quel bimbo o ragazzo, per fargli sperimentare un luogo che accoglie e che permette l’esperienza dell’essere amato!

I bambini quindi maturano una conoscenza di appartenenza alla Chiesa attraverso:

COMMISSIONE IC E COLLABORAZIONE DIOCESANA

Nella nostra diocesi il percorso dell’ACR per l’iniziazione cristiana è sempre stato molto poco utilizzato. In diocesi siamo ancora molto legati ad una catechesi frontale e scolastica, catechesi legata molto alla partecipazione “obbligatoria” della Messa. Come equipe diocesana abbiamo istituito una commissione sull’iniziazione cristiana, formata da catechisti ed educatori che stanno vivendo questa esperienza nelle loro comunità, che possa essere di supporto a tutti quei catechisti/educatori che vogliono incominciare un percorso attraverso la metodologia e i sussidi dell’ACR, con al centro i bambini come protagonisti e non come “contenitori da riempire”.
Tutto in collaborazione e in continuo confronto con l’Ufficio catechistico diocesano.

IL CAMMINO ANNUALE

A livello diocesano non mancano le proposte che durante l’anno prendono vita al fine di sostenere e accompagnare il cammino parrocchiale:

La serata di presentazione dei cammini: momento di lancio dell’anno, rivolta ai catechisti e agli educatori per raccontare il cammino dell’anno e iniziare a spiegare il metodo.
Il sussidio per la giornata di spiritualità d’avvento, da vivere nella propria comunità parrocchiale.
La festa della pace diocesana nel mese di gennaio, la giornata di spiritualità diocesana in quaresima, i campi estivi.

L’Equipe Diocesana e tutta la Presidenza crede e sogna in un’AC che non si spaventa davanti alla realtà dell’oggi, ma che ha forza e voglia di sognare in grande. Per questo abbiamo scelto di spendere energie, tempo e pensieri per una proposta così alta e audace come il cammino dell’iniziazione cristiana: perché ci crediamo e perché sentiamo che ce ne è davvero tanto bisogno.
